Over 40 years experience breeding, showing and raising puppies the RIGHT way. All of our dogs and pups are home-raised and are a part of the family. Since our family has numerous allergies (including dogs!) it's important to have non shedding dogs. We love poodles as well as the smaller mini doodles as they are a perfect choice for those with allergies, and for those who want a sweet companion dog with a great temperament.

Who are we?

For over 40 years I, Wendy, have been raising, showing, training or breeding dogs-mostly poodles. My husband and I work from home with my main "job" being the caring for our dogs.

Our dogs are ALWAYS raised and kept indoors. Our furry family members can be found on a lap, a bed (dog or human!), a crate (they love their "dens"), a favorite sofa cushion or pillow, or, during warm months, lying upon a favorite a/c vent, or catching a breeze beneath a ceiling fan.

Breeding dogs is not a business for me, it is a passion and a commitment. We do not breed haphazardly or irresponsibly in an attempt to "get rich." All of our dogs live here-we don't send them out to "guardian homes" and then pull them away from their families to have pups, (this does not seem fair to the mama dog or the families that "lose" their mama dog pet for 2 months at a time.)

As an allergy sufferer, I enjoy helping similiar people find the perfect non shedding, small companion dog to add to their life and family. Whether a purebred poodle, a small poodle mix puppy or a small mini doodle, we love bringing fluffy bundles of joy into the lives of individuals and families! THIS is why we do what we do. What kinds of cuddly pups can I choose from?

Our mama dogs produce beautiful varieties of sweet tempered pups that love people. Coats can be curly, or wavy, and colors range from deep red, to various shades of apricot with abstract trimmings of white. We produce phantoms, merle, black tuxedo, parti,and tri colored pups. No matter what color you choose, be assured that all our dogs have people-like hair and no doggy odor- (unless they get into something unpleasant! LOL) This type of coat is ideal for allergy sufferers as there is no heavy seasonal shedding of fur-thus the reason poodles and poodle mixes are often called "hypo allergenic." Keep in mind however, all dogs-even hairless breeds-will have dander.

Our mix pups are all F1B or higher. (Look under FAQ to understand what all the "F's" mean!) The "extra" poodle in our pups not only helps with the non shedding coat, but it also passes along the brains of a poodle. Poodles have been rated in the top 5 of smartest breeds of dogs.

Our poodles are "colorbred reds." This means that the lineage has been bred specifically to keep producing reds and no other colors. (There is a lot more technical detail but I won't go into it here.) Thus, our poodles cannot produce any colors but red, nor do we breed any other colors. Although some fading can occur with any color, this deep red color is one of the more difficult ones to produce, and is often called the "Ferrari" of poodle color. The price of red poodles would also "fit" into that Ferrari description! So if you are simply looking for a poodle, pricing for a common color like black, apricot, white, cream, or brown, or parti etc, will be considerably less than that of the red color.

Just as no one can tell the size that a child will be at maturity, we cannot guarantee the adult size pups. BUT, since we communicate with many owners who have gotten pups from us, we keep record of size and weight. There isn't a week that goes by that we don't get a picture or an update from someone sharing a special moment with their pup. This helps us share with new owners what they size range they may expect their pup be at maturity. We produce both smaller and medium sized pups. Our adult dogs are all under 20# with some closer to 10# and others closer to 20#.

Our adult dogs have had breed specific health testing completed and have scored "A" and CLEAR on their breed's panel. We often will do trait and color testing as well, so that we can understand what to expect in each planned litter.
